MARTIN REFFNER
Died at 11 o'clock last night of dropsy at his home, Sixth avenue and Eleventh street, Juniata. He was born July 9, 1857 [1847 - ed.], and had been a resident of Juniata for a long period of years, having been employed by the Pennsylvania railroad company for 22 years. He was a member of the First United Brethren church and of Lodge No. 152, Independent Order of America. Three sons survive, Calvin of Juniata, Michael of Roaring Spring and Lloyd of Altoona. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning. The body will be taken to Stiffler's cemetery at McKees Gap on the 8.05 train where interment will be made.

Martin Reffner.
Martin Reffner, aged 50 years, died Sunday night at 11 o'clock, of dropsy, at his home, Sixth avenue and Eleventh street, Juniata. Mr. Reffner had for many years been a resident of Juniata and for twenty-two years was employed with the Pennsylvania Railroad company. He was a member of the First United Brethren church. He is survived by three sons, Calvin, of Juniata, Michael, of Roaring Spring, and Lloyd, of this city. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning. The body will be taken to McKees Gap, where interment will be made in Stiffler's cemetery.
