On the back of a picture of his sister, Ella Wrightstone, is written that he farmed his parents' farm after his father died until he married at which time his mother and his sister (probably the unmarried one, Mary) moved to Mechanicsburg. Emmanuel continued to farm outside Mechanicsburg until 1890 or 1891 when he moved to Cumberland Co. where second daughter, Ruth, was born.

Emanual Kreider died at 9:30 o'clock last night at his home in Huntsdale, aged 86 years.
Mr. Kreider was a member of the Huntsdale Brethren Church for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Kreider; a daughter, Mrs. Zora Baum, Bloserville; a sister, Mrs. Walter Wrightstone, Mechanicsburg, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Huntsdale Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in the Huntsdale Cemetery. Rev M. H. Flora, assisted by Rev. Otho Hassinger, will officiate.

On back of picture of Daniel Jacobs' house is an inscription that Sarah's father died when she was 16 months old. Her mother became housekeeper for Daniel Jacobs and Sarah or Lizzie was raised on this farm.

Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Kreider died at her home at Huntsdale Sunday at 8 a. m. - She was in her 74th year and the widow of Emanuel Kreider, who died Feb. 11, 1937.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Zoura Baum Residing, near Bloserville. Also surviving her are 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev Otho Hassinger Wednesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Huntsdale Church of the Brethren. Interment in adjoining cemetery. A brief service will be held at the home at 2 p. m.
